This module contains elements that may be applied by workers in the automotive, construction, energy, engineering maritime and transport, sectors. Module 5 provides learners with a basic technical understanding associated with the operation, and chemistry involved in electrolysers and fuel cells, their associated Balance of Plant (BOP) and where these critical components may be found in electrolyser systems, fuel cell power systems, hydrogen batteries and back-up power systems.
